If we want a world that is beautiful, kind and fair, shouldn’t our activism be beautiful, kind and fair?
Award-winning campaigner Sarah Corbett, founded the Craftivist Collective to provide more that just an alternative use for crafts. The Collective’s gentle protest approach is called craftivism, and it aims to change the world with deliberate, thoughtful actions that provoke reflection and respectful conversation instead of aggression and division.
Craftivism is for everyone from skilled crafters to burnt out activists, and those people who want to challenge injustice in the world but don’t know what to do, where to start or how to prioritise their energies and time.
Sarah Corbett leads an intimate, inspiring craftivist workshop – places are very limited as the workshop lasts 1hr and 15 minutes and Sarah is very hands on – she will be working with each participant and brings along home-made, ethically sourced craft kits for each participant, so book in early!
Tickets for this event include all materials as well as a £5 Book Voucher.
