Self-Management in the Struggle for Socialism

‘Self-management in the Struggle for Socialism’ was published as Spokesman Pamphlet No. 37 in 1973. It was based on a paper given by Michel Raptis (Pablo) to the tenth Latin American Congress of Sociology, Santiago de Chile, 1972. This edition published in 2025 as a Spokesman Classic. Few, if any, of Raptis/Pablo’s works remain in print but following a recent biography (The Well-Dressed Revolutionary, Hall Greenland) there is a renewed interest. It is hoped that this Spokesman Classic – an important statement of Raptis/Pablo’s central concerns – will serve as a further introduction to the work of an interesting and intriguing thinker and activist.
