Transitional : My Story

When Munroe Bergdorf began to transition in 2009, her only goal was to be perceived as the gender by which she identified. More than a decade later, after establishing a successful career in the public eye, Bergdorf believes that transitioning is an ingrained part of the human experience, not a process that only trans people go through. In this life-affirming and heartfelt book, the activist and model draws parallels between society and her own experiences – told through the lens of adolescence, sexuality, gender, relationships, identity and race – to bring us closer to a shared consciousness.
