In Left Cultures 2 there's over 50 stories discussing a dazzling array of past and present cultural moments to create a Lexicon of the Left, fully illustrated throughout.

Left Cultures delves deep into the left’s cultural past to discuss gems of storytelling within film, literature, music, art and poetry. Culture which has influenced and inspired an eclectic bunch of comrades to continue in this tradition by creating new cultural endeavours on the left today. Colliding together the past and present to celebrate the power and rich diversity of storytelling on the left with personal accounts, beautifully illustrated throughout.

This is one of our absolute favourite magazines, it's so richly crafted! This latest edition includes contributions from bookshop comrades Akwugo Emejulu and Paul Sng.

Left Cultures is a non-profit organisation, after covering publishing costs any money made is offered back as an equal share to all contributors of each edition. They are completely self funded, have no major backers and we like it that way. Every contributor to the project does so because they believe in left-wing ideas being transmitted through cultural endeavours and does so without an upfront fee.
