Raymond Tallis' first two books of poems Fathers and Sons and Between the Zones were published by IRON Press 30 years ago. Since then Tallis has become a polymath, a philosopher, novelist, cultural critic and retired medical physician and clinical neuroscientist with numerous acclaimed books under his belt. He appears annually at the Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival and was a guest on Desert Island Discs.
