So Hormonal: Women's Rage & Mood Swings
Featured Speakers
Tomiwa Folorunso & Heather Parry
We’re thrilled to launch a three-part feminist extravaganza to celebrate So Hormonal! One feminist press and 3 feminist bookshops bring you three virtual events the length of the country! This three part launch will feature discussions between some of the many writers involved in So Hormonal, unpacking the topics they explored in their essays and sharing their experiences with hormones in health and life.
Event 1 is with us at Lighthouse on Wednesday, then on to Cardiff for Event 2 with Shelf Life on Thursday and finally the Feminist Bookshop on Friday for the final flourish of Event 3!
To launch the launch we’re talking Women's Rage and Mood Swings!
Tomiwa Folorunso and Heather Parry discuss living with PMDD and PME, the effects of hormonal medication on mental health, and negotiating identity and relationships while dealing with these conditions.
