Austerity Resistance Forum: Open Meeting hosted by ECAP

Featured Speakers
Edinburgh Coalition Against Poverty
According to the International Inequalities Institute, government cuts have caused over 190,000 deaths in the UK.
Austerity can only continue if we do not resists.
According to the BBC, 18% of the UK population, over 12 million of us, live in absolute poverty. No government can stand against a force of 12 million, active, organised, starving people.
We are part of a UK wide network fighting back against the cuts. All are welcome at our upcoming Austerity Resistance Forum, where we will discuss how cuts affect our lives and find out how we can fight back!
This event will take place in the bookshop and discussion will be livestreamed to this very page (the event video will appear above where the banner image is) and discussion can take place in the chat here. There is no zoom link or login needed, the livestream will take place right here :)
This event will be seated and masked (the shop is wheelchair accesible), and speakers will use microphones. You can choose to interact as much or as little with discussions as you are comfortable, and there will be a break out space in the fiction room.
