We are delighted to welcome writer and activist Harry Nicholas as part of our Book Fringe 2023 lineup at Lighthouse to discuss his first book A Trans Man Walks into a Gay Bar, part intimate memoir and part call-to-action.
Navigating the worlds of contemporary gay culture in the UK, from dating to sex and finding love again, Harry sets out to find and become more himself. Beginning his journey as a newly single, newly out transmasculine gay man, he shares his experiences in discovering the nuances of trans, queer life. Most importantly, he emphasises the possibility and breadth of joy in this hopeful and life-affirming memoir.
Harry is joining Lighthouse as part of this year’s Book Fringe: ALT Edition in partnership with two other Edinburgh indie bookshops – Argonaut and Typewronger.
