Ada Barumé spent her early childhood in Kinshasa, DRC, before moving back to the UK and spending her teenage years in Dorset. After graduating with a politics degree from Cambridge University she moved to London to become a journalist, and now produces a current affairs Podcast. With her debut novel she draws on her own experiences of being a young, black woman looking for fun, love and adventure. When she’s not working, you’ll find her agonising over what outfit to wear or searching for the nearest dancefloor. She is the author of Love Overboard
Hosted by writer and podcaster Bethany Rutter. She writes books about women, bodies and clothes and her latest adult romance is the fabulous (and funny) Big Date Energy. She lives in Southeast London.
