Heartsore and hopeful about the ceasefire. Holding breath for news from Gaza's North, of aid coming in, of what is found upon return, of respite offered. All so so long overdue. We rejoice, and we mourn.

The ceasefire is just a beginning, a new page in a long story.

The bombs may have halted, but we must continue to demand our government have to backbone to see the terms of the ceasefire upheld in these first critical 6 weeks. We must continue to challenge and dismantle the military-industrial complex that has fed and profited from the genocide of Palestinians, the occupation, and a Middle East in conflict. We must continue to raise funds and be creative with our mutual aid so that Gaza can be rebuilt, so that homes, and communities can be rebuilt.

Pull in closer - in these darkest of times so many of us have found each other, comrades across borders and those who would stand up, who would march, rally, speak, write and fight. We're going to need all we have learned for what comes next.
