These brilliant books range from biography to history, from Gypsy Britain to Eastern Europe, and Traveller Scotland, novels that celebrate Gypsy, Roma, Traveller (GRT) heritage, picture books with GRT representation.

We'll keep seeking out more such books, sadly many celebrated writers - such as the Romani Menyhert Lakatos - are out of print, and many have yet to find a publisher. Ben Myers recently wrote an interesting piece on just this: Waiting for the great British Gypsy Novel, though just cos Ben hasn't read it, doesn't mean it's not out there. Some would even argue Louise Doughty has had a good crack at it...
