Healing Nature
Jessica
Inspired by our event with Samantha Walton, on a rainy October afternoon in our garden, we put together a list of books which celebrate, explore and complicate the relationship between human wellbeing - physical and mental - and natural environments. Who feels like they belong there, and why? What counts as nature in the first place, and how do we keep healh and nature from being co-opted by capitalism, turned into a tool of exclusion?
Have a look at these titles for such questions and much more.
Updated November 2023 with some of our faves from 2023.
