Not all feminisms are created equal, nor do they have the same goals. Our feminism is always antifascist and intersectional.

Over the coming months, we find ourselves in the very privileged position to be hosting a number of authors who each are boldly exploring new territories in feminist thinking and struggle - its pitfalls and all its immense possibilities.

On Tuesday March 4th we welcome Sophie Lewis, author of the brilliant Full Surrogacy Now and Abolish the Family, with her new book Enemy Feminisms, an unflinching tour from 19th century imperial feminists and police officers to 20th century KKK feminists and pornophobes, to today’s anti-abortion and TERF feminists. It's a love letter to true liberatory feminism!

This is followed by a visit from Lois Shearing on March 27th. In Pink Pilled: Women and the Far Right, Shearing shares a daring investigation into how women are recruited by the far right online.

And of course there’s our big event with shop favourite Laura Bates, author of the seminal Misogynation and Men Who Hate Women among others, on May 12th. Laura's new book The New Age of Sexism, is a clear-sighted exploration of the way AI and the new horizon of evolving technologies may come to affect the rights and safeties of women.

If you seek feminism of the kind that sees us all as complicated humans with interlaced identities, the kind that is wise to the ways patriarchy and the far right oppress us differently, latching on to our various vulnerabilities, and the ways in which our identities can also be weaponised - a feminism that works for true collective liberation, then these events are for you!

Below we’ve gathered a constellation of books which explore and develop many different facets of such feminism - from disability justice to dismantling white supremacy - identifying the threats against it.

This is our kind of feminism.
