I loved Fierce Femmes, a story of a young runaway Asian-American trans girl who finds sisterhood in a gang of kickass trans sex workers in a street drenched with queer magic. Dark & sweet in equal measure, our heroines enact head-cracking justice against those who would mistreat them.

Little Blue Encyclopedia floored me. Formatted as an encyclopedia describing elements in a fictional tv show, it documents the protagonist working through her feelings about her best friend (obsessed with said tv series) who recently died. A beautiful meditation on grief, longing, and how popular media can be intimately imbued with our life experiences.
