On dying

We've made space over the years for books and discussion around grief, and for loss, always from our perspective as those left behind. This list is a little different. Reflections on death, and on dying from those approaching the end of their own lives or those people up close to such death.

Looking into these books and seeking other recommendations it is clear most of what has been published comes from a western perspective, and much of it is written by men. If you have read and loved books that have offered other experiences and insight we'd love to hear of them.
