Pride month pre-orders for Alice Osman, Alexis Hall and Lex Croucher

It bears repeating that every month is Pride Month at Lighthouse, but June nonetheless has a history of celebration and visibility that’s important not only to acknowledge but to uplift and to honour. Head on over to our events page to see what we have in store this year in terms of author visits.

It also happens that three writers of wondrous queer stories, and Lighthouse favourites, are publishing new books in June and early July! As a special Pride-month treat to yourself or someone else, you can pre-order these now, and take part in the following competitions/give-aways:

Heartstopper Volume 6 by Alice Oseman

Pre-order a copy from Lighthouse to enter the competition for an exclusive drawing of you and a friend by Alice Oseman. One lucky winner will pick a photo of themselves and a friend which Alice will turn into a one-of-a-kind special drawing.

The fine print/Terms and Conditions:

• The competition is limited to customers based in the UK over the age of 13.
• Each pre-order counts as one entry.
• By “pre-order” we mean an online order through our website before 2nd July (the official publication date of Heartstopper 6).
• Eligible prize entry also applies to pre-orders placed prior to the competition announcement.
• On 2nd July, publication date, Lighthouse will choose a winner at random from the pre-orders.
• The drawing will be delivered sometime in the autumn of 2026, separately from the book.
• The drawing will be based on a photo of you and a friend (both persons in the photo need to be over the age of 13), and the process for getting this to the publisher will be arranged after you have been selected as a winner. No NSFW photos.
