Push The Boat Out : Edinburgh's new poetry spectacular!

We are PSYCHED to be hosting a pop up Poetry Bookshop at Edinburgh's very own Poetry Festival - Push The Boat Out!

It's bold, it's playful, it's genuinely pushing the boat out on what poetry is and can be and who it's for so we're thrilled to be a partner in this.

Push the Boat Out will take place Friday 15th- Sunday 17th October at Summerhall!

To tell us more about this rockin new women-led literary venture - the brain child of Jenny Niven & Kevin Williamson- we had a wee chat with poet & coms Manager Julia Sorensen.

Julia introduced us to an eccentric, Edinburgh-based festival with an international outlook, a festival that would celebrate Scotland's varied languages, break down boundaries of the form - there's a wicked hip-hop seam to the program - and invite in new audiences. She was a JOY and if you don't find yourself smiling back at her in this wee video then...you REALLY need some poetry fun ;P
