Above all, we at the Lighthouse would love the Radical Book Fair to be a space for beginnings - of relationships, of ideas, of learning and, ultimately, of change. Many of us who are active in social justice organising know of times when we didn't know where to begin or who to ask that question: what can I do? Journeys of activism are also non-linear, and we often find new beginnings along the way.

This is where our activist showcase comes in, with stalls where you can go and grab a flyer, find out about an event, or have a quick chat, and group representatives giving short introductions to their work.

Meet activists, organisers, local groups & support networks addressing a range of issues in Edinburgh & beyond - from climate justice to international solidarity, housing issues and much more. Find out what's happening where and how you might get involved.
