Join Kate Young and Ella Risbridger for a conversation about Kate’s first novel, the erotic sapphic romance Experienced, over a drink and a selection of savoury and sweet snacks inspired by the book!
We’re delighted to be working with brand-new women-run bespoke luxury dining and events company, Còmhla, who are greatly looking forward to bringing their creativity and attentiveness to a delicious light supper to accompany the discussion!
About the book:
Experienced is sexy and queer and joyful. It follows Bette, who came out in her 30s, as she goes on a reluctant dating odyssey. This odyssey was the idea of Bette’s girlfriend Mei, who suggested they take a break to allow Bette to catch up on a decade of dating experiences she missed before she came out. But Bette is not alone: she has her new friend Ruth as her queer dating guide, to help her on her quest to have lots of casual sex with lots of hot women, and return to Mei more experienced at the end of their three-month break. A perfect plan! Right?
