Please check ticket info for this event below, incl. information about access.

This event is in-person only and will take place in the downstairs space at the Roxy. There is no step free access to the Snug where this event will be held.

In this 1-hour writing workshop, participants (writers at any level) will receive guidance on how to embrace their subjective perspective and centre their own experiences when writing about the arts, demonstrating that there is value in responding to a creative work by revealing they have a personal stake. We will also discuss the myth of an “objective view-point” in arts critique.

Prompts will be provided in the form of videos and sound, and there will be time for sharing some of the work written during the session (voluntary), to receive feedback from the group.
