Africanfuturism & Afrofuturism
Jess B
A collection of amazing Africanfuturism & Afrofuturism books we love!
These are genres of sci-fi that deal with the Black experience; the distinction between the two terms is that Afrofuturism centers the Black experience in the western world, while Africanfuturism does not.
I will forever be raving about Nnedi Okorafor's Binti, a novella that punches way above its page-count with incredibly vivid worldbuilding and characters to root for!
