Books on mental health and imagination to celebrate 'Marbles'
Artemis
On Saturday 14th January we celebrate the launch of a new issue of Marbles: an indie print magazine interested in looking at the people behind the diagnoses and giving those living with mental health issues a chance to dig into their own stories and lay them bare without shame.
The new issue of the magazine, 'What Now?' celebrates mental health and imagination. In its honour, we've put together a reading list of extraordinary writing on mental health, creativity and imagination - from stories of race and madness to explorations of diagnosis and culture - a constellation of minds and worlds stretching pushing against oppression and stigma, toward greater possibility.
We can't wait to welcome editors and writers for a conversation about how imaginary, created worlds are connected to our mental health. Read more about the launch and find tickets HERE.!
