DISCOVER HAJAR PRESS: RBF PUBLISHER HIGHLIGHTS
Mairi
Hajar Press is one of the newest kids on the block and they have hit the ground running. It's hard to express just how bloody impressive their list is - Honestly, we're in love.
Bold and unapologetically political, Hajar proclaims from the masthead who they are: "An independent political publishing house run by and for people of colour."
Hajar publishes books by writers of colour with original and transformative ways of seeing and imagining the world. They refuse to uphold an either/or distinction between beautiful and revolutionary. Challenging us as readers to ask: why not both?
We are SO excited that the Radical Book Fair will play host to an early launch/release of their latest work, a Cradle Community collaboration on abolition entitled Brick by Brick - join us! Online or in person on November 14th.
