We Keep Us Safe - a reading list
Jessica
Our Jess and JJ went over to Glasgow this past weekend to take part in We Keep Us Safe - Visions for an Alternative World, a gathering organised by Tripod Training and Friends of the Earth Scotland. The third in a series of movement gatherings, the day was all about sharing our visions of a different world - beyond the state, borders and criminalisation.
These were the books we brought along for a wee Lighthouse stall (and some which we didn’t have just then but wish we could have brought)! Check them out for myriad visions of solidarity, interconnectedness and abolition in all its guises.
Do also check out “Local Police Monitoring Group: A Practical Guide” by one of the panellists, Kevin Blowe from Netpol, which can be accessed HERE.
