Friendship - Radical perspectives on intimacy & connection
Mairi
Intimacy is having a cultural moment - given true value, explored for its emancipatory potential, assessed as a site for love and labour, all this and more now in the pages of books. Perhaps it is because of lessons learned during the pandemic, perhaps it is because in an ever more fractured landscape these deep bonds and connections feel utterly vital. Whatever it is, I'm loving it.
In honour of the launch of BFFs we're gathering a few phenomenal reads that celebrate and explore those vital kinds of love, intimacy and connection that rarely get the spotlight.
